While some buyers choose Mitsubishi for its great value and affordability, others are true brand enthusiasts who want the very best the automaker has to offer. That’s why I decided to show you what you can get from Mitsubishi if you want to treat yourself — without holding back.
Unsurprisingly, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is the brand’s most expensive model for 2025. Its starting price is $48,698, which is very reasonable considering that the average price of a new vehicle today is close to $70,000.
The Outlander PHEV features one of the most appealing plug-in hybrid powertrains on the market. It combines a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors, producing a total of 248 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) and standard all-wheel drive complete the package. Where the Outlander PHEV truly shines is in its electric range — it can travel up to 75 kilometers on a full charge.
Even at $48,698, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV comes very well equipped. The lineup includes seven different trim levels, with the Noir S-AWC version sitting at the top, starting at $60,598. You can also add the Graphite Gray exterior with a black roof for an extra $600, which is the only available option, bringing the total to $61,198.
As you can see, it’s possible to indulge yourself without breaking the bank with Mitsubishi. The Outlander PHEV is an excellent vehicle, and its price is more than competitive. That’s why I highly recommend it — you can go all out without having to hold back.
